Camera Sensor and Design
The Sony A7S III features a 12.1MP Exmor R sensor. As a result of the CMOS sensor, the BIONZ XR processing engine is said to enhance color reproduction and texture rendering while maintaining the sensitivity of the a7S lineup. Sony has lowered the base ISO to 80, so the a7S III’s normal ISO range is 80 – 102,400. Video can be stretched from 80 to 409,600 pixels, and still, images can be stretched from 40 to 409,600 pixels.
